Hello All,
I have searched all around and I can not find any listing on how to pull the RL Radio. I have my code but I am going to add an aux. input to the radio so I need to pull the whole thing out. Any one who has pulled one in the past please post how to pull the trim with out breaking it.

Any Help whould be great.

you have to take out the shift gate cover...disconnect the heated seat buttons...pull the trim out (its held in by clips) give it a good yank.

then your gonna remove the air vents by sticking a flat head screw driver underneath the vents. its held in by 3 clips...one on the right, one on the left and one in the middle.

then your gonna remove four screws...two at the top of the radio/ac unit and two at the bottom of the unit. after that it just comes right out.

dont lose any screws and remember where everything plugs up.

In the 2k RL, the air vents are part of the center dashboard, so the clips (4) are above the vents and just above the wooden part. :)

You don't need a flat head screw driver in order to pry the clips, you'd risk scratching something by doing that. You can easily pull the wooden dashboard downward and out, it's much safer this way. I just removed mine today.
